Debuted by Patek Philippe at Baselworld 2016, the 5164R-001 arrived five years after the steel version and marked the first time the Aquanaut collection featured a dual time complication in rose gold. Measuring 40.8mm, the case carries a slightly fuller profile than the time-only 5167, making room for the in-house calibre 324 S C FUS movement beneath the dial.

Crafted entirely in rose gold, the case combines polished and satin-brushed finishes that perfectly suit the Aquanaut’s sporty yet refined character. The rich brown embossed dial, finished with a subtle gradient effect, adds warmth and depth, while the matching rose gold hands and applied numerals complete the look beautifully.

Functionality remains one of the 5164R’s biggest strengths. The left-hand side pushers allow for quick adjustment of the local hour hand, making travel between time zones effortless, while the date display remains synchronised to local time. Like all Aquanaut models, comfort is a huge part of the appeal, with the watch fitted to Patek Philippe’s signature brown composite strap and secured by a rose gold double-folding clasp.

Our 2022 5164R is presented in very good condition, showing light signs of wear and polishing. Complete with the newer style Patek Philippe clasp, the watch comes with its 2022 dated paperwork, book pack, and original Patek Philippe box.
