Product Description

The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon (ref. 311.92.44.51.01.003) takes the legendary Speedmaster design and gives it a modern, all-black ceramic overhaul. It’s still unmistakably a Speedy, but with a sleek, stealthy aesthetic that feels more cutting-edge than vintage-inspired.  

Crafted from a single block of black zirconium oxide ceramic, the 44.25mm case has a deep, uniform finish that’s both lightweight and highly scratch-resistant. The glossy ceramic bezel, with its white tachymeter scale, keeps the racing chronograph spirit alive, while the blacked-out pushers and crown maintain the monochromatic look. Despite the larger size, the case’s curved lugs and ergonomic design make it surprisingly comfortable on the wrist.  

The black dial sticks to the familiar Speedmaster layout but with a few key updates. The twin-register chronograph design, with subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock, keeps things balanced and legible, while the applied white gold indices and broad arrow hands offer just the right amount of contrast. The red-tipped chronograph seconds hand adds a subtle pop of color, a nod to the Speedmaster’s motorsport heritage.  

Underneath, the in-house Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 9300 powers the show. With a silicon balance spring, anti-magnetic properties, and a 60-hour power reserve, it’s as technically impressive as it is visually stunning—visible through the sapphire caseback.  

Our 2014 example is presented in excellent, like new condition displaying almost no signs of wear and offered as a complete set, including 2014 dated warranty card, book pack and original Omega presentation box.
