The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore was never designed to be subtle. Introduced in 1993, it pushed Gérald Genta’s original into bolder, more assertive territory—larger, sportier, and built to stand out. The 26470SO, better known as the “Vampire”, leans fully into that identity.

Named for its black and red aesthetic, it’s one of the more distinctive Offshore configurations. Instantly recognisable, but never overplayed, the kind of piece that sits slightly outside the expected.

Housed in a 42mm stainless steel case, it carries all the signatures of the Offshore line. The octagonal bezel, exposed screws, and sharp contrast of brushed and polished surfaces give it that unmistakable presence. The black Méga Tapisserie dial features bold Arabic numerals, a date at three o’clock, and chronograph subdials, while the red accents across the hands and markers bring a sharper, more deliberate edge.

Inside, the self-winding calibre 3126/3840 delivers reliable chronograph functionality with a 50-hour power reserve. Paired with a black rubber strap and offering 100 metres of water resistance, it balances everyday wearability with the bold character the Offshore is known for.

Our example dates to 2021 and is presented in excellent overall condition. There are minor marks visible along the sides of the case, while the watch remains unpolished and retains its original factory lines. It is offered as a complete set, accompanied by its original Audemars Piguet box, warranty card, and booklets.
