Product Description

Reference 228235 pairs the Day-Date 40 with Rolex’s proprietary 18 ct Everose gold, an alloy introduced in 2005 to preserve the appearance of its pink gold watches. On the -0025 configuration, the olive green dial uses a sunray finish, with fine brushing radiating from the centre to change the way the colour responds to light. 

The watch uses Rolex calibre 3255, with independently adjustable day and date displays and an approximately 70-hour power reserve. Its fluted bezel also retains a detail rooted in early Oyster construction: the fluting originally allowed the bezel to be screwed securely to the case before becoming one of Rolex’s established design signatures.

Our 2026 Day-Date is presented in excellent condition, with light signs of wear and no signs of polishing. Offered as a full set and complete with a 2026 dated warranty card, booklets, tags, and original Rolex box.
