Created to mark the 50th anniversary of the Royal Oak, the 16202ST succeeds the much-loved 15202ST while remaining remarkably faithful to Gérald Genta's original 1972 design. Rather than reinventing an icon, Audemars Piguet focused on thoughtful evolution, preserving the 39mm proportions and ultra-thin profile that have long made the Jumbo what many collectors consider the definitive Royal Oak.

Its stainless steel case showcases the exceptional finishing that has become synonymous with the manufacture, where satin brushing, polished bevels and sharply defined lines create one of watchmaking's most recognisable silhouettes. The iconic blue Petite Tapisserie dial adds greater depth than its predecessor while retaining the unmistakable character collectors have admired for decades.

Visible through the sapphire caseback is the Calibre 7121, the first new movement developed for the Royal Oak Jumbo since the model's launch in 1972. Replacing the legendary Calibre 2121, it increases the power reserve to 55 hours, introduces a quick-set date function and features a newly designed 22ct pink gold oscillating weight. The result is a movement that respects the Royal Oak's heritage while delivering the refinement expected of its next generation.

Created to celebrate the Royal Oak's 50th anniversary, the 16202ST introduced the next generation of the Jumbo while preserving everything that made the original an icon.
