Introduced in 2007, the Cartier Ballon Bleu departed from the brand's traditionally angular designs with a rounded case and a distinctive crown set within a protective arch. This unusual construction gives the watch its name, with the blue cabochon appearing almost suspended within the case. The curved profile extends through the crystal and caseback, creating a softer silhouette than Cartier's more conventional round watches.

Reference W69016Z4 retains the collection's original design language, pairing a silvered guilloché dial with blued steel hands and Roman numerals that curve around the crown enclosure. The date aperture at three o'clock is integrated into the dial's circular pattern, while an automatic movement provides the convenience of self-winding within Cartier's distinctive case design.

Offered as a complete set with booklet and Cartier Box, this 2018 Ballon Bleu is presented in very good condition, having undergone a professional polish since the photographs were taken.
