The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5205G-013 takes a distinctive approach to calendar design, arranging the day, date and month in three apertures across the upper dial rather than using conventional subdials. Originally introduced in 2010, the reference received this blue sunburst execution in 2018, with a black gradient around the dial’s edge. Its sculpted white gold case features a subtly concave bezel and openworked lugs, giving the watch a more architectural character than Patek Philippe’s traditional calendar models. 

The annual calendar mechanism, developed and patented by Patek Philippe in 1996, automatically accounts for months of 30 and 31 days, requiring manual correction only once a year at the end of February. A moonphase display sits at 6 o’clock alongside a 24-hour indicator, which also helps identify a suitable time for adjusting the calendar without interfering with its mechanism.

Presented in very good condition, this 5205G shows only light signs of wear and polishing. It comes as a complete set, including the book pack, 2019-dated warranty paperwork and original Patek Philippe wooden box. The watch also underwent a full service in 2025 and benefits from a service warranty valid until 2027.
