The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116588TBR, nicknamed the ‘Eye of the Tiger’ by collectors, takes its name from the striking dial design, where black lacquer and brilliant-cut diamonds create a pattern reminiscent of a tiger’s eye. Crafted in 18ct yellow gold, the reference also features a bezel set with 36 trapeze-cut diamonds, bringing a distinctly jewellery-focused character to the Daytona collection.
The two golden chronograph counters form the eyes within the tiger-inspired motif, making the nickname particularly fitting. The watch retains the Daytona’s calibre 4130 chronograph movement and is fitted with Rolex’s Oysterflex bracelet, contrasting the elaborate gem setting with a more sporting finish.
Presented in like new condition, this 116588TBR is offered as a complete set with a 2019-dated warranty card, booklets, tag and XL Rolex box.
