The Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR challenged the collection’s established design when it arrived in 2022, becoming the first GMT-Master II with its winding crown on the left and date display at 9 o’clock. Paired with an entirely new green and black Cerachrom bezel, the unconventional layout quickly earned the watch its “Sprite” nickname among collectors. It remains one of the more distinctive departures from the GMT-Master II’s familiar appearance.

The changes extend beyond the case, with Rolex adapting the calibre 3285 to accommodate the reversed arrangement while preserving the watch’s established GMT functionality. The independently adjustable local hour hand allows travellers to change time zones without stopping the movement, while the rotating bezel enables a third time zone to be tracked. This version is fitted with the three-link Oyster bracelet, lending a more purposeful character to the unusual configuration.

This 126720VTNR is presented in very good condition, showing only lights signs of wear and polishing. Offered as a full set with 2023 dated warranty card, booklets, both tags and original Rolex box.
