The Rolex Submariner 124060 is the Submariner at its most focused. No date, no Cyclops, no extra detail to interrupt the dial, just the clean symmetry that has always made the no-date Submariner so compelling. It is simple in appearance, but that simplicity is exactly the point.

Introduced in 2020, the 124060 replaced the 114060 and brought the no-date Submariner into Rolex’s current generation. The case increased to 41mm, but slimmer lugs and a broader Oyster bracelet give it a more balanced profile than the previous “Super Case”. It feels sharper, more resolved and easier to wear, without losing the presence expected from a modern Submariner.

Inside sits Rolex’s calibre 3230, a meaningful step forward from the calibre 3130 used in the previous generation. With a longer power reserve and improved overall efficiency, it gives the 124060 the modern performance to match its stripped-back design.

The result is arguably the cleanest modern Submariner Rolex makes. Practical, understated and difficult to improve upon, the 124060 captures exactly why the simplest version of an icon is often the one that lasts.
