The Rolex Air-King reference 114234 holds a distinctive position in the brand's history. Originally introduced in the 1940s as a tribute to Royal Air Force pilots during World War II, the Air-King embodied Rolex's commitment to precision and durability. Over the decades, it evolved in design and dial variations including this stunning orange numerals patterned design.
The replacement for the 114234 is the 116900, introduced at Baselworld 2016. This updated model features a larger case size, improved movement, and a design that blends modern aesthetics with the iconic elements of its predecessor.
Our example is a 2014 watch and is in very good condition. This example has never been polished but shows signs of wear all around the watch. The watch comes as a complete set with the booklets, card, tags and original Rolex box.
