The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph 26240ST.OO.1320ST.08 takes a familiar Royal Oak formula and gives it a more contemporary edge. In 41mm stainless steel, it has the presence expected from a modern Royal Oak Chronograph, but the proportions remain sharp, controlled and unmistakably AP.

The green “Grande Tapisserie” dial is what gives this reference its character. Rich in tone and texture, it brings a different energy to the Royal Oak without moving away from the design language that makes the watch so recognisable. Tonal chronograph counters keep the layout balanced, while white-gold hour markers and luminescent hands give the dial clarity without flattening its depth.

Inside sits Audemars Piguet’s calibre 4401, the in-house flyback chronograph movement introduced to bring the Royal Oak Chronograph into a more technically complete generation. Earlier Royal Oak Chronographs relied on modular chronograph construction; the 26240ST instead uses an integrated automatic chronograph with column wheel control, flyback functionality and a 70-hour power reserve. It gives the watch more than just visual appeal.

On the wrist, this is where the Royal Oak Chronograph makes sense. The bracelet finishing, case architecture and dial texture all work together rather than competing for attention. In green dial form, the 26240ST feels modern, confident and slightly less expected than the more familiar blue or black configurations, while still keeping the everyday wearability that makes the Royal Oak Chronograph so compelling.

This 2026 example is presented in unworn condition, offered as a full set complete with warranty card, book pack, and box. The watch also includes Audemars Piguet's extended warranty until 2031.
