Product Description

The Tradition Seconde Rétrograde 7097 turns Breguet’s movement architecture into the face of the watch, exposing the bridges, wheels, barrel and escapement around an off-centred, hand-guilloché dial. At 10 o’clock, the seconds travel through a 60-second arc before the retrograde hand returns instantly to zero, adding movement to an otherwise highly symmetrical layout.

The exposed construction also places Breguet’s pare-chute at four o’clock in clear view. Developed by Abraham-Louis Breguet to protect the delicate balance pivots from shocks, this early shock-protection system is a particularly fitting detail for the historically informed Tradition collection. The automatic calibre 505SR1 combines that architecture with a silicon Breguet balance spring and a 50-hour power reserve.

This 2020 Rétrograde is presented in very good condition with only light signs of wear and polishing. Offered as a full set with booklet and original Breguet box.
