The Explorer 36 reference 124270 pays homage to Rolex's storied legacy of adventure and exploration. Originally introduced in 1953, the Explorer line was inspired by the successful ascent of Mount Everest, embodying resilience and reliability. The 124270, released in 2021, reimagines the classic 36mm case, staying true to its heritage while appealing to modern sensibilities. Its design reflects decades of innovation, offering a timeless tribute to the spirit of discovery.
Cast in 904l stainless steel, the watch measures 36mm diameter. The watch is powered by the 3230 movement with 70 hour power reserve. In addition, very minor dial changes and a different finish on the hands round off the upgrades to the new model.
Our 2022 - 124270 Explorer - is supplied very good condition with light signs of wear but no polishing. The watch is offered as a full set, complete with 2022 dated warranty card, booklets, both tags, and original Rolex box.
