The IWC Portofino Perpetual Calendar 3541 brings one of the brand's most celebrated complications into an elegant, remarkably compact dress watch. Produced during the 1990s, it combines the classical proportions of a 35mm gold case with the perpetual calendar developed by legendary IWC watchmaker Kurt Klaus, a mechanism that helped establish the manufacture's reputation for complicated watchmaking.

Its ingenious calendar automatically accounts for varying month lengths and leap years, displaying the day, date, month, moon phase and four-digit year. Unusually, the calendar indications can be adjusted through the crown rather than separate case correctors, preserving the Portofino's clean profile. The combination of mechanical complexity and restrained design makes the 3541 a particularly interesting chapter in IWC's history.

Presented in very good condition, this 1990s Portofino shows only light signs of wear and polishing, and accompanied with its original box, paperwork and accessories.
