The Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222 4200H/222A-B934 marks the return of one of the manufacture’s most influential modern designs. First introduced in 1977 to celebrate Vacheron Constantin’s 222nd anniversary, the original 222 helped define a new era of luxury sports watches, combining an integrated bracelet, slim profile and distinctive case architecture at a time when watchmaking was changing rapidly.

In stainless steel with a blue dial, the modern Historiques 222 captures the character of the original without feeling trapped by it. The fluted bezel, monobloc-style case and integrated bracelet remain instantly recognisable, while the deep blue dial brings contrast and depth to the design. Even the smallest details, from the applied markers to the Maltese Cross set into the lower corner of the case, serve as reminders of how carefully considered the original watch was.
